The Valk 3 M is the magnetic version of the extremely popular Valk 3. It uses the same mechanism as the original and is a reliable cube for speedcubers at all skill levels. With the use of strong magnets inside the cube’s pieces, the layers will drag itself into correct position after finishing a move. This helps you keep control of the cube even at very high speeds.

Perfect for training speed
For a beginner who needs just over a minute to solve the cube, it has a couple of clear advantages and disadvantages. I think it feels a bit & quot; clunky & quot; or & quot; blocky & quot; as someone else wrote in their review. I have not adjusted anything since it came out of the box and as it is it cuts corners okay and the clumsiness means that it ends up quite right even if I am not very precise in my moves. It allows me to & quot; meat on & quot; to pressure me to make the moves faster without losing control. At the same time I lack feeling in the cube and feel that I do not develop my technique very well when I use it. So far I make my fastest solutions with softer cubes, such as DaYan Teng Yun M. However, it happens at the expense of consistecy as it sometimes spins a bit too fast for my unfamiliar fingers. Not my favorite so far, but if you like a little stronger magnets and springs, it is a quality cube that can withstand tough grips. With trimming, it might suit me better as well.

Slow due to strong magnets
Too strong magnets make the cube slow. When you solve slowly, the cube gives more control, but that does not make me happy, as my time seems to be 15s slower. Maybe you can get used to it, but I doubt it for me. Feels of good quality in general. Maybe then someone else fits, but I myself am a big grown man, so the power does not depend on it.
