The Valk 4 M is a compact, well balanced and fast speedcube. Strong means strong magnets for the cube, which gives the cube great stability. If you do not yet turn fast when solving a 4×4, then we recommend the standard versions as strong magnets makes the cube’s layers pull hard into position and the cube hooks itself up by the end of each turn. When you turn quickly, these jerks will disappear completely resulting in a great flow in your solve with good stability. With the Valk 4, Qiyi has two fantastic 4×4-cubes on the market. Qiyi Wuque and Valk 4. The Valk 4 is faster while the Wuque is slightly better in terms of corner cutting.
Valk 4 M
The Valk 4 M is the first 4×4-cube in the Valk series from Qiyi. The cube is 60 mm, making it slightly smaller than the standard for 4×4 cubes and sits well in your hands. The cube’s feeling is very reminiscent of the Valk 3 which will be appreciated considering its popularity. The cube has been released in two versions, standard and strong. Strong means stronger magnets which suits those who turn fadt and like the a strong magnetic feel.

It is very good

Good, of course. Very controllable, slightly slow. Feels low budget right out of the box, needs to be screwed, lubricated and used before it starts to get good. Locks quite easily. I would recommend MoYu Aosu or MGC over this one.

I am happy with my purchase. I personally think that you should have strong magnets on a 4x4x4 cube, anyway magnets to keep it together and not twist in all directions. So I thought I made the right choice with hard magnets and am super happy

My first 4×4 and very happy with it. Rotates cannon and gets stuck very rarely. (Thought it would be more of a challenge to go up to 4×4 instead of 3×3)

Arrived after a long wait, although we have Bring (type PostNord fixed in Norway) to blame. The cube feels solid without being heavy for that reason. A little sluggish or tired right out of the package, but with a little lubrication it became nice. Have nothing to evenly distribute, but spontaneously I like the cube. I do not know how it performs over time, it remains to be seen ….
