The YJ MGC Evo Pyraminx M has a hard plastic and is relatively loud when in use. The tips of the Pyraminx, on the other hand, are very quiet as long as the core is properly lubricated. To do that and at the same time get rid of any spring noise, the three colored plastic pieces of the tips need to be separated. Underneath is the screw, that is used to adjust how tightly the puzzle should be tightened, as well as a spring. Lubricate these metal parts with a slightly heavier silicone oil lubricant. Then put the pieces back together and the lubricant will spread out and eliminate annoying spring noises after break in. However, if this seems like too complicated a process, it is possible to order the Deluxe package and then we will both lubricate and adjust the Pyraminx for you.
As for the adjustable magnet strength, there are six levels. By doing half a move, the magnets will become visible, and you can use the included tool to adjust them. The higher the number that the magnet strength is set to, the stronger the magnetic strength will be. 1 corresponds to a very weak magnetic strength and 6 feels medium strong (but not overwhelming).
