The YJ MGC Elite 3×3 is a fast and flexible speedcube with a variety of smart functions. The cube’s system allows you to change the adjustments, elasticity and magnet strength without having to disassemble the cube or change its parts. This makes the cube one of the most customizable cubes and also comes at a lower price than we usually see for cubes with these functions. Read more below.
Adjustments
Just like all speedcubes we sell here at Cuboss, you can tighten the screws under the caps of the center pieces. What makes this puzzle stick out is the ability to adjust the elasticity of the springs – without having to replace them. There are small capsules around the screws that are easily turned with your fingers, no tools needed. The elasticity is adjusted in steps and the capsules will click into position at six modes, marked 1-6. This way you can easily achieve the same elasticity and a good balance on all sides of the cube. This is the easiest and most flexible elasticity system we’ve seen up until today, nifty!
Magnet Strength
With the MGC Elite you can easily adjust the magnet strength in two modes. Turning a layer 90 degrees reveals the magnets in small capsules. The magnet capsule has a small groove in the shape of an arrow. If the arrow is pointing inwards – the magnets are in their weaker mode, outwards and the magnets are in their stronger mode. Turning the arrow and changing the magnet strength is done by turning the capsule with a screwdriver. The capsule will click into position. A screwdriver is included with purchase of the cube.
The cube as a whole
The cube is very fast, flexible and cuts corners very well. With the adjustment possibilities you can easily change the cubes character and customize the cube to perfectly suit your needs. This is also easier to do on the MGC Elite compared to other models. Included with the cube are extra magnets and a smart tool that contains two types of screwdrivers in one!
