The Yuxin Little Magic 5×5 M may have a rough surface. But this is without a doubt a good speedcube. This cube is clearly better than the budget cubes we’ve released up until 2019. How does it compare to the flagships from Moyu and Qiyi? In general, it doesn’t feel as luxurious as the Valk 5 M and the Aochuang GTS 5×5 M. But the cube is close to the same level of performance when it comes to aspects such as speed, stability and corner cutting. This makes the cube a good choice no matter if this is your first 5×5, or if you already own one and want to upgrade without spending too much money.
Yuxin Little Magic 5×5 M
17.99 €
The Yuxin Little Magic 5×5 M is a very good 5×5 speedcube. The cube is magnetic which means magnets will help you drag the layers into correct position after finishing a move. For being a magnetic 5×5, the price is unbeatable, and the quality doesn’t feel compromised despite the low price tag. The cube is fast, stable and performs really well as a speedcube and is recommended for speedcubers at all skill levels.

Great 5×5
For its price, it’s a great 5×5! However, like some of the other Yuxin Little Magic magnetic cubes, the budget aspect shows when it comes to build-quality. Many of the plastic caps scratched up, and one piece had some extra plastic growing out of it (which I promptly removed by chopping it off with a razor blade).
But the price is right, and for someone who isn’t super fast like myself, it’s a great cube to start with, or even upgrade to. I only had a QiYi (non magnetic) 5×5 before, so this one feels like a major improvement. I find the magnets to be strong enough to be noticeable without interfering.
I debated long and hard about getting this first or jumping right in for the Valk 5, but I am happy I went with this one to begin with. I’m sure I’ll get the Valk 5 once I feel my times have improved enough to reward myself, but for now this is more than enough for me.

Good
It’s a really good 5×5 for the price but I’ve had a problem with centerpops but other than that it’s really good!
