Dayan Zhanchi Pro M is the latest version in the Zhanchi series from Dayan. Dayan Zhanchi was the leading and best-selling speedcube at the beginning of the last decade. Today, Dayan releases a completely new and modernized cube that can compete with today’s absolute best speedcubes. The cube is light, fast, with a soft feeling and stands out as one of the quietest cubes on the market.
Although Dayan Zhanchi Pro M is released as a version of the classic Dayan Zhanchi, the cube is much more reminiscent of their latest series of cubes, TengYun. The cube is very similar to Dayan TengYun V2 M in both feel, appearance and features. The cube is fully adjustable and you can adjust the tension and the springs in two separate systems. In addition, you can change the magnetic strength with three different settings; weak, medium and strong. The magnets in the cube help you pull the layers in place. The stronger the magnetic strength, the harder the layers will tighten after you’ve made a turn on the puzzle.
The cube comes with an adjustment tool and screwdriver, a cube guide, adjustment instructions and a storage bag. The cube is stable and controllable even though it is flexible. It cuts corners very well and is, as mentioned above, very quiet which makes it a perfect fit for the office or classroom. Together with the customization options, this is a fantastic cube that can be recommended for speedcubers at all levels, from beginners to professionals.

Is this the real life, or is this fantasy?
Caught in a G-perm, no escape from rotations. But with this cube, the solutions became a little easier anyway, although I must be completely honest, I love this cube. My first speedcube was a Yuxin Little magic 3×3, what partly made me continue to solve was how enormously smooth and comfortable that cube was. For almost 1 year I have been running GAN now, first xs then 11 pro, both very solid cubes but when you are not super fast (average around 40 sec) you easily get a little tired of the fairly strong magnets, even at the lowest. Dayan TengYun M is both fast and incredibly easy to turn. The magnets are on the weaker side but perfectly adequate. The cube is light. And the best thing about it – it is so enormously nice and quiet to solve, a real joy. I know that it has received some cool reviews in some places but it is a top cube that can definitely compete with similar cubes in the price range (and also them over). In any case, I have found a cube that suits me perfectly!
