The HaiTun Waverider 3×3 M is an innovative speedcube on many levels. In addition to the classic magnets between the edges and corners, this cube also has magnets between the tracks of both the edges and the corners! Overall, this gives a magnetic strength that is reasonably strong. Given that the magnet strength can still be adjusted in six steps, it is however easy to find a strength that you like.
Furthermore, you can also adjust the pop safety and spring strength in eight individual steps each. We here at Cuboss like that these steps are well designed in terms of the difference between the different steps. On too many cubes lately, the steps are either too small or miscalibrated, meaning that more settings won’t necessarily help you find a setting you like. However, the HaiTun Waverider 3×3 M does a great job with these steps, so we’re confident that after a bit of experimentation, you’ll find your favorite settings, whether it’s magnet strength, center travel or spring strength.
