The Moyu Magnetic Pyraminx is considered by many to be the absolute best Pyraminx puzzle you can find on the market today. Magnets have been shown countless times to be an excellent addition, and Pyraminx is no exception. Usually the Pyraminx uses small pegs to make the layers slightly lock themselves between each turn. This is done to make sure the layers end up in the correct position to prepare for your next turn. The magnets fulfill this same function, effectively reducing friction and reducing the locking between turns. The Moyu Magnetic Pyraminx is very fast and is easily turned, perfect for those who are looking for the absolute best Pyraminx on the market.
Comparison to the X-Man Bell:
Both the Moyu Magnetic Pyraminx and the X-Man Bell uses magnets, so which one is better? Both of these puzzles are great, and preference will differ from person to person. When it comes to the magnets, the X-Man Bell uses stronger magnets which leads to it locking itself slightly harder. The X-Man Bell feels a bit more stable while the Moyu Magnetic Pyraminx is a bit more flexible. When it comes to corner cutting the X-Man Bell comes out ahead slightly. Despite this new Pyraminx from Moyu utilizing magnets, you can still hear a distinct clicking sound. The X-Man Bell is a bit quieter.

The only thing I really have to complain about is that the tops do not turn in place very easily because there does not seem to be any mechanism to keep them in place in one of three correct positions. Otherwise I am very happy, it cuts corners well enough, locks rare for me and is nice to turn on.

This is my first pyraminx and I am very happy. I just want to say that the tips can be quite tough out of the box. It’s fast but I can still control it. The thing is that reverse corner cutting is much better than usual. Ordinary corner cutting is quite poor and can not handle close to 45 degrees. But reverse is close to 45 degrees. I recommend this cube to beginners or world class.

Moyu magnetic pyraminx
I think this pyraminx is pretty good out of the box but gets better if you lubricate it with thick lube. The tips get better after a while and to make them even better, I recommend that you lubricate them with a little lube as well. Good pyramid for those who use their wrists more to turn a pyramid than their fingers.

Moyu has released a new pyraminx and I was very eager to test this. With the right adjustment, the puzzle gets a much better corner cutting than some other pyraminx ex shengshou. You do not feel any magnets personally I think and some peaks were a little slower than others .But the puzzle in general is very fast and has a clicky feeling. So if you feel that your pyraminx is starting to get a little worn and a little sluggish, this is a perfect choice.
