This is the latest version of the Speedstacks timers. Speedstacks G4 pro timer is of high quality, it measures time with high precision and has a clear display displaying down to thousandths of a second. This timer is frequently used for official WCA Competitions.

The product has been discontinued and will not be back in stock.This is generation 4 of Speedstacks timers. Compared to earlier versions of this model, this has a better ergonomic design for picking up and putting down the cube. The touch-sensors have been turned slightly inwards, creating a more natural feel. Another difference is the batteries, this uses AAA-batteries instead of the CR 2023 3V that were used in the earlier version. Batteries are not included.
Just like the other models, this has cavities for attaching the timer to a mat. It fits both the G3-mat, the new G4-mat as well as mats from Yuxin and Qiyi. (a mat not included, but can be purchased separately and as a timer & mat package).
Don’t forget to pull off the little plastic tab from the battery compartment before use, otherwise the timer doesn’t start!
Use:
Start the timer, place both hands on the marked plates and wait for the timer to signal that it’s ready. When you lift your hands from the plates to start solving the cube, the timer will start. When you are finished with your solve you quickly place your hands on the plates once again and the timer will stop. To reset, simply press the reset button.

Professional look and nice feeling
Speedstacks G4 Pro Timer (with associated mat) is the best way to prepare for a WCA race as it is the exact same equipment used. It feels safe to be able to remove some infamous variables if you have never competed before (like me).

The timer is great and flexible. But! It is not error-free! The timer automatically shuts itself off after 10 minutes, which is very disturbing. In addition, that time starts for no reason at times. One function I wish existed was & quot; inspection & quot; (ie the 15 seconds you check the cube).

Love this timer! Does not bug, good response, perfect for oll / oll attack timing. If you are going to buy a timer, this is quite good, as far as I know it is also the only brand used in competition. With the small gen 4 rug, it also does not take up huge space on the table and the bag that comes with the purchase of that package is also really useful. Cuboss delivers as usual quickly, and with genuine knowledge and commitment to customers and cubing.

A timer with precision! No numbers are lying here. The timer measures thousands. In addition to time measurement (which in itself is the most important thing), the timer is very nice in the design, I personally think that the color blue fits almost all carpets and tables. It is also more comfortable to use than e.g. YuXin timer v1, as it is not completely & quot; straight & quot; where you have to put your hands down to start the timer, without being angled upwards for a more natural feeling for the hands. In summary; I could not have wished for anything better!
