GAN 356 M E 3×3

Both center travel and tension (spring strength) are adjusted with the included small metal tool. Insert the tool into the top of the blue ring and turn clockwise to adjust how tight the cube should be. The GAN 356 M E 3×3 comes with setting 2 applied, where there are three levels to choose between. If you switch to level 1, the cube becomes more resistant to pops and corner twists, but at the same time, the cube’s ability to cut corners is slightly reduced. If you switch to level 3 on the other hand, the ability to corner cut improves, but you risk more pops and corner twists. Level 2 is a good balance of the two, and the level that we at Cuboss prefer.

By inserting the same metal tool into either of the two openings in the side of the blue center construction, you can adjust how controllable or fast you want the cube to feel (spring strength). The cube comes set to level 2 here as well, but for spring strength there are four different levels to choose from. You turn the tool clockwise until you hear a clicking sound to move on to the next level. Level 1 means the loosest and fastest feel, while level 4 means a more controllable and compact feel. It can be quite difficult to see what level the center is set to at the moment. Our tip here is to shine down with a flashlight to make visible the small numbers that show just that.

Also for spring strength, level 2 is a very good trade-off in our opinion, so if you feel that all of the above sound like Greek to you, don’t worry. The cube comes with good settings right out of the box, so you are good to go with your new GAN 356 M E 3×3.
