Moyu Weilong GTS2 M is a magnetic version of the very popular GTS2. Magnetic means that there are magnets inside the edge- and corner pieces which means the cube adjusts itself to correct position between every turn. This helps the stability of the puzzle and as a result it’s easy to manage despite the fast speed. Read more below.

Moyu Weilong GTS2 M is in other words a modification of the original GTS where the modification is executed at MoYu’s factory. Magnetic cubes have quickly became a big hit for speedcubers all around the world and we highly recommend them. The magnets are small and powerful, which means the cube isn’t much heavier than usual. The strength of the magnets have been tested to make the cube stable and easy to manage without compromising the speed. You can feel the cube softly locking into place when you turn the layers slowly, however faster turns makes this a very subtle and pleasant feeling. The cube is recommended to those who use various finger tricks to quickly turn the cube’s layers.

This is the best cube I have tested so far. Beat PB after the second try with this one, highly recommend! Incidentally, good and fast customer service, however, could be better packaging as the bag was broken when it arrived.

My only speedcube before this was an old Dayan Zhanchi and this cube is very good in comparison! If you have never ridden with magnets before, you feel them and it makes a difference, a nice feeling. Many say that this cube should be very fast but have not experienced that it is uncontrollable.

It is a very fast kun, but after a few weeks my magnets came loose so I had to open the pieces and remove them so it does not rattle in the cube. Pretty sad. Maybe just my cube, who knows?

The cube is fast, flexible and extremely comfortable to use. Unfortunately, so smooth that corner pieces risk changing position. They remain in the same position but rotate themselves, which affects everything very much. Otherwise good.

Comfortable beginner cube
The step from a 3x3x3 cube from Rubik & # x27 ;s to this one is miles wide. My initial experience was that the GTS2 was a bit too fast for me who is fairly new to speedcubing. This was solved by tightening the screws under the center pieces slightly. After wearing the cube for a few weeks, I feel that it would probably be served by a few drops of silicone oil. The magnetic effect of pulling the bearings in place I do not experience as quite distinct as on my new GAN 354 M.Stickerless or not, but it may be worth mentioning that I have lost the GTS2 M with a downward corner on two different occasions. This has resulted in the three colored plastic sides coming loose and can be a bit tricky to get in place. I’m not yet so fast that I have experienced that the cube has popped, but have had a corner twist on one occasion. The color choice regarding white / yellow could perhaps have had a greater difference, so I perceive these similarly in warm temperatures or lighting. As a cube, this is a good alternative if you are looking for a stickerless fast magnetic cube that also works with a one-handed solution.

Cheap and fast cube

This is the first speedcube
This is the first speedcube I tested, so can not compare to others. I think it works very well, easy to turn, the magnets are quite nice to have (but can be removed if you want, it comes with a bunch of extra magnets as well). The only thing I can complain about is partly that it squeaks a bit on 2 sides (have tried screwing it both looser and harder without much difference, so I guess it needs to be lubricated), partly that for me as a color blind (red-green) so it is a bit difficult to see the difference between especially the green and orange side, even the yellow to some extent.

I bought a GTS3 M
I bought a GTS3 M before this one. I became curious and bought this to compare with. Had I not had the 3rd before, I would have thought that this was the ultimate. This is nicer than the third, I think. It is lighter, has nicer middle pieces (not angular visible lids like the 3rd) and it does not have the raised edge like the 3rd. This is also quieter. But the 3 is the one I like best if it has such a very nice distinct feeling and the magnets are stronger on it and I like that. This one gets 5 out of 5 because it is great, it’s just about what you prefer the most.

My second GTS2M, absolutely the best speed cube today if you like a fast, & quot; smooth & quot; cube with a slightly clicky feeling from the magnets. The M version makes it more stable than GTS2. Stickerless feels a little smoother than the black version I have. It has Moyus’ new lighter stickerless colors, which I like.

One of the best on the market.
This cube is probably one of the best you can buy today. It can cut corners from any angle and you feel minimal friction when you turn it. The magnets felt a bit weak at first, but after a while I started to think they had perfect strength. The cube is extremely fast, but very easy to control. The cube’s anti-pop mechanism is very good, so good that I can not even take it apart without unscrewing the middle pieces. However, I was a little unhappy with the condition it was in when I opened the package. It had scratches and dirt on the plastic. The glue that holds the magnets had also run out on one of the surfaces on a corner piece and the glue stain attracts dirt. That’s really all there is to criticize, but I think such defects are acceptable for a mass-produced magnetic cube. This is really the best you can buy if you want to test on a magnetic 3×3!

My first cube with magnets and what a feeling it gives. It is clearly the most beautiful 3 I have but it is after all the only one I have tested with magnets, so I have nothing to compare with. But it’s a clear 5th for me.

This is the best cube I have tested, it is incredibly fast but at the same time controllable thanks to the magnets, it cuts corners almost everywhere and I love how smooth it is. The magnets help a lot even though they are very weak. Directly from the box, it was very dry and sandy, but after using it a bit, it became faster and smoother.

faster than gans air (regular and UM), but the magnets are weak
really smooth feeling right out of the box. GTS 2 basically has less lock-ups than Gans air / UM cube is a bit difficult to control but the magnets help quite a lot if you know how to turn the cube without a magnet (so that everything ends up in place). The bad thing was that the magnets felt differently strong in some places. Gans air UM had even magnetic forces over the whole cube, but the cube I got had slightly different strengths on the magnets. It is mass-produced so you can not expect as good quality as gans um. if you are a beginner or have speedcubed for a while (not really advanced yet) then I recommend GTS 2 M over Gans air UM. GTS 2 M is simply worth the money

Right out of the box it was very smooth and a bit bumpy, you did not feel the magnets so well in the beginning. After I have made around 1000 solutions, and lubricated it, it was even smoother and it felt like the magnets became stronger. For me, I have not had any problems with the magnets coming loose. This cube is definitely worth trying and due to the low price (for a magnetic cube) I think this can be a main for you too!

Out of the Box it is very fast and uncontrollable, but when you have adapted your turning style to it, it works perfectly. The magnets are weaker than on my UM and therefore this cube is really good for OH too !!! I highly recommend the cube !!

Sickly good cube! It felt very sandy and fast right out of the box, but after rubbing it with goose lube and Maru, it feels very fast and controllable. The magnets help a lot when you solve because they make the cube very stable! Highly recommend this product!

I bought a GTS2 a while ago and have since before a GTS with magnets that I have been very happy with. But the GTS2 M is absolutely incredible. Soft, compliant and at the same time it withstands my slightly unpolished and hard-handed style when I spin a little faster. Really recommend this cube!

Need some crafts
My cube (stickerless) felt very dry and rough to spin out of cardboard and also relatively firm (like when the cube is very loose and fast). But after dropping some on the screws and dripping in a little Gans lube, it went SIGNIFICANTLY better. Have had an Aolong V2 Stickerless as main for a while and even though this barely looks smaller, it is noticeably smaller and thus it feels a bit unfamiliar with finger tricks so far. The magnets do exactly what they are supposed to, but it is also very different in the beginning compared to the Aolong V2. It is much quieter than the Aolong V2 but still has the slightly clicky feel that you recognize from the Aolong, not at all like the Gans 356S v2 Master edition which I think is a bit softer and fluffier. Definitely think this will be my main in the future. The magnets help a lot in the transition between, for example, M2 U & # x27; rotation. As usual, thumbs up for Cuboss who always delivers fast and has a fantastic service.

The magnets are strong which I like but I gave it 4 stars because the cube had a lot of lube on the surface otherwise it is cruel and my new main is highly recommended !!
