The Mefferts Gear Cube is a really cool puzzle that will stick out in your collection. The cube consists of many different cogwheels that spin when the cube is turned. A calm cube which was a disappointment due to “carelessness”.
Carelessly affixed stickers, skewed and poor adhesion. Several had flared ends directly “out of the box”. It felt dusty, as if it had been in a warehouse for a year before being unpacked. It was also sluggish to turn at first as if they had not been trimmed by the degrees after casting. At first, Sambon did not think it was possible to turn it to the other joint when the teeth at first were not in “phase”. Thought of sending it back or at least calling and asking if there might not be better quality on this particular cube. But since we are in the middle of a move, I prioritized it away. Fun puzzle of high quality
Out of Box, the cube is a bit sluggish and has some lockups, but after solving it a few times, it becomes very smooth and comfortable. The stickers are not as smooth and glossy as they usually are cubes. There is nothing wrong with how they are placed, they sit like on a 3×3 and feel very good. The cube is easy to solve and very fun, fast delivered as usual

the cube is smooth but not too fast it is easy to solve but and looks really cool it has 5 degrees corner cutting but no reverse it has problems however 1. is that it has stickers that do not sit like a 3×3 2, its stickers do not have so good quality but otherwise it is really fun
