The QiYi QiMing S3 is a budget Pyraminx from Qiyi. With this Pyraminx, Qiyi have focused on a low price tag, but it is still an easy puzzle to turn and can be used for speedsolving. Compared to its predecessor, the QiMing S2, the turning is a little bit easier and with less friction on the upgraded variant. A perfect choice for those of you who are going to buy your first Pyraminx for example.

The QiYi QiMing S3 Pyraminx is stickerless, which means that instead of stickers, the pieces have been made of colored plastic. The colors will therefore not wear out with use. The Pyraminx has the classic mechanism with “ball bearings” that lock the layers in the correct position between moves, so that the puzzle becomes easier to handle. The surface of the cube is slightly “frosted”, which helps hide any scratches that may occur. If you want to adjust the tightness of the puzzle, then just separate the three-part tips and adjust with a regular Phillips screwdriver.
