The QiYi Thunderclap 3×3 is very fast right out of the box and cuts corners well. QiYi has created an improved mechanism which prevents the cube from popping even if the cube is tensioned loosely. This cube is a heavy competition to today’s modern cubes despite the cheap price. Included in the box is a storage bag of high quality!
The QiYi Thunderclap is the sequel to the QiYi Bullfight in the Mo Fang Ge series from QiYi. In this new version there has been an improvement to the mechanism to increase stability, because of this, the cube has been loosened to increase speed without making it pop more. It is rather light at 82 grams, but it doesn’t feel as plastic as many other light cubes, for example the MoYu Guanlong. Included with the purchase you also get a cube storage bag of high quality. It’s a little transparent because of the fabric-web material. The bag is quite large, so it’s easy to store the cube, and even slightly larger ones.

I ordered this for my kid who has been using one of the traditional cube before which has been good but when you have mastered few steps and want to be bit faster that’s where you need a fast cube.
This cube is slightly big which is really good for the grip and it is really very smooth while making the moves. Overall my kid has been enjoying this without any complains.

Spring noise again
Others I buy from this cube and also this one has a lot of sound from the spring. : / Must pick them out and lubricate, which should not be needed on a new cube in my opinion. Otherwise it would have been a 4th, because it is quite good for the price.

A cruel cube I have a regular one with stickers and a stickerless, both are good cubes but my stickerless came completely without lube while the “regular” was ready to be used immediately.

This was my first speedcube, when you get it in the box it is a bit scratchy but when you have solved it a few hundred times it becomes fast and smooth. The only flaw with this cube is that it can corner-twist quite easily. Unfortunately, it was stolen a while ago.

This is a fast cube but lacks precision as the pieces in my opinion are too loose. Sometimes it feels like it is falling apart. The build quality is not the best either, my cube had gaps between the surfaces on a single corner piece. However, at a very low price, hence 3 stars.

Out of the box, it had a hard plastic feel. But now it’s buttery smooth. Cornercutting is good, It is fast and smooth, and rarely locks, But corner twists 2/5 solutions may be due to too loose tension?

Top cube … I think.
The cube is so incredibly easy to turn that it almost feels like it is going to fall apart and run through your hands when you release it. However, it has not yet done so but instead held a stool to be dropped on the floor. However, one of the corner pieces fell apart a bit (the pieces are assembled from several parts) but I managed to press it together and it works just as usual. I expect to learn to handle this elastic and easily twisted cube more and more and am overall very satisfied even though I have nothing to compare with but my lousy original ruby cube that you have to strain your finger muscles really to twist.

Awsome for being so cheap
The cube is fast and smooth it is really fast out of Box and feels very light in weight, corner cutting is nothing special, about 50 degrees for normal and 3/4 in reverse, maybe sounds like a standard cube but boat that stands out with this is that you can change the feeling quite a lot on it e.g. if you want it to be smooth you lubricate it every 100 solvents and if you want it to be more crisp you wear it in, you can make it for other feelings too, what I think stands out with this is that it is very cheap compared to other 3x3s today it costs about 100 really but you also get a bag with very good quality for about 20 more, the only problem is that it can get corner twists but it only happens 5/100 solutions so really buy this if you want a good cube for a smaller price and this is the new go to cube in my opinion but only if you do not like the gans 356 / tanglong feeling
