Shengshou Megamorphix, also known as 4×4 Mastermorphix, is a Morphix-puzzle with four layers. The puzzle changes shape completely as you scramble it and becomes a colorful spectacle. The puzzle is really difficult to solve and will be a challenge even for those who can already solve the Rubik’s cube and the 4×4 cube.

Shengshou Megamorphix is basically a 4×4 that has been transformed into the shape of a pyramid. In conjunction with this, the puzzle now only has four colors instead of six. This, combined with the unique shape of the pieces, makes the puzzle completely different from what we usually see and becomes a difficult yet fun challenge. The layers are easily turned and the strong bright colors makes it beautiful to look at.

It's a bit sluggish and you have to have the lines exactly for it to able to twist. It feels like it's going to pop all the time. And there are older ones like this here and the older ones are much easier to solve than this one and it looks cool in the collection. It is very difficult to read how the pieces should be. But definitely worth the money. The box I received it in was a little mangled, but you have to take that for the cheap amount you paid for. The older ones don't have a (small) middle piece and then it's easier to solve without it.

This is my first shapeshifter larger than 3x3x3. I promise, you will encounter problems and parities you are not used to. My habit of larger cubes helped me but it took me a while to solve it the first time. This is a really fun puzzle, buy it!
