Gigaminx (difficulty and solution)
The puzzle may look quite intimidating, but the solution is actually not as difficult as you might think. It’s definitely a challenge, but if you have some cubes in your collection that you can already solve, you’ll probably manage this one. A Gigaminx is basically a 5×5 version of a Megaminx. So if you can already solve a Megaminx and a regular 5×5, you can actually manage to solve this without a guide. However, it doesn’t work exactly the same as a Megaminx and 5×5, so you’ll probably have play around a bit before you manage to solve this and it will be a perfect challenge for those of you looking for something a little more difficult.
ShengShou Gigaminx V2
This isn’t the first Gigaminx on the market, but the previous versions haven’t performed as well, so this is a welcome upgrade. The puzzle can be twisted without any problems when you take it out of the box. The puzzle doesn’t lock up very much and it can even corner cut a bit. The mechanism is clever and the puzzle does not pop either.
