The YJ MGC 6×6 is magnetic, which means the cube has small magnets inside the cube’s pieces which help you turn the layers into position. This means the cube consistently keeps itself in correct shape which avoids any potential lock ups from misaligned layers. In addition this provides extra stability and the cube doesn’t feel as cumbersome. The magnets used in the MGC 6×6 are of medium strength and don’t end up taking over control. The cube cuts corners well. All of this in combination with the unusual speed for a 6×6 makes it a candidate for competing with cubes at double its price. Included with the cube are extra magnets, a screwdriver for adjustments and a set of springs.

I have been out of cubing for the past 5 years or so.
The only big cubes I ever held in hand were from V-Cube and Shengshou.
I was not prepared for this 6×6, it caught me completely off-guard, but in a good way!
This cube is so amazing, I just can’t stop solving it, I carry it with me everywhere I go. It’s like an addiction. 😀
Obviously I can’t compare it to other brands like MoYu and the likes, but to be quite honest, I don’t know how I would improve on this cube, it’s literal perfection. The pinnacle of 6×6 cubing.

A little loose from the beginning but a half lap made it much more stable.

The performance is the best on the market and for that price it is suitable for both those who want to test 6×6 and for the experienced. But the quality I am not happy with, it came with loose magnets and magnets that are inverted so that it repels instead of being pulled against each other.

Quiet and nimble but …
It is very nice with the help of magnets. Quiet (which is appreciated by others in the family :)), and witty. Feels very solid. It has popped apart at some point when the children get loose on it, but has been relatively easy to restore.

This is a really good 6x6x6, might even be the best on the marked as of may 2020. It is only an added bonus that it is cheaper than its competitors. I’ve had a few pops and lockups here and there, but it is to be expected of a big cube.
