Cuboss Speedcube Lube – Weight 6 is the heaviest and most viscous lubricant we sell here at Cuboss. With its viscosity of 200k, you can hardly call it a liquid anymore, it rather feels like an incredibly viscous cream in almost solid form. Why would you ever want that in your speedcube, you might ask? That is to be able to apply very small amounts in your speedcube, but still get the full effect and lubricating feeling of the puzzle. The lubricant will last longer than anything else we offer, and at the same time will give your cube just the right amount of speed if you apply in just the right amount.

Cuboss Speedcube Lube – Weight 6 is perfect for today’s already super fast speedcubes, which are considered by many to be so fast that they are difficult to control. A dry or excessively fast speedcube can lead to misturns, and losing yourself in the algorithm you are currently performing. The optimal lubricant to control this is Weight 6. With small amounts applied to your puzzle, your cube will actually be able to become fast, but with a touch of softness and control. But the more you add, the slower the puzzle becomes, until you reach exactly the speed you’re looking for. Be careful though, because if you add too much, the cube can become too slow. However, that problem can be solved by combining with a faster or perhaps water-based lubricant or alternatively by wiping some of the remaining lubricant from the cube.
Cuboss Speedcube Lube – Weight 6 is probably best suited in your smaller cubes (3×3 and smaller), as it can be difficult to apply the small amounts required to keep the cube from going too slow if you simultaneously want to spread it over all the pieces that a larger cube has.
