It’s not just all the different variants of the DaYan GuHong Pro M that stands out, but also how easy the puzzle is to use. With the help of the puzzle’s slightly softer plastic, the puzzle is fast, soft and smooth right out of the box. You don’t have to be a proffesional at lubing or adjusting cubes to get the full potential out of this one. Under the center caps, you’ll find DaYan’s new mechanism to adjust how tightly the puzzle should be screwed down (what is sometimes called “axis distance”, i.e. what was traditionally adjusted with the help of screws and a screwdriver). By turning the two nobs counterclockwise, you can switch between five different levels. Level 1 is fastest, loosest and with the best corner cutting ability, while level 5 provides a tighter feel and more robust feel.
DaYan GuHong Pro M
16.99 € – 19.99 €
DaYan GuHong Pro M strikes as perhaps the most priceworthy release of 2023. The cube comes in a total of six models, divided into two categories. You can buy the cube in sizes 54, 55 or 56mm, perfect for ensuring that the cube fits well in your hands no matter how big your hands are. In addition, you can choose whether you want the cube to have springs or repelling ring magnets (MagLev). The MagLev variant is a bit faster than the spring variant, so even though both variants are naturally really fast puzzles, MagLev is for those who want that extra speed. All models of DaYan GuHong Pro M have core to corner magnets (ball core) for extra stability on top of the standard magnetization, really impressive for a cube in this price range!

Very good but loud. Nice feel, good performance. If youre intermediate this is really good but for an advanced solver like me its not that good. Overall great but not for everyone. Btw the sound is like crunchy and like a bit rubbery so yeah.

When i got this cube i was looking for a quiet 3×3, but ended up with a new main. BUT i do have some problems.
1: The center caps fall off when corner cutting too much. it hasn’t happened during a solve, but it could happen.
2: Some of the peices are a bit loose. Mainly the corners, but specifically the red-green-white one. Sometimes i notice it almost falling apart.
3: The tensioning system. I have no problem with the system itself, but its when i clean the cube. when the center has no other pieces to support it, it will fall down. everything BUT the indicator in the middle. that means i can turn the thing with the spring without changing the tensioning (i havent spesifically tested it, but it is what might be happening)
Overall it is a very good cube even with those problems.
