GAN 356 Air SM is the sequel to one of the most well known cubes of year 2017 – Gans 356 Air UM. GAN 356 Air SM might be the most luxurious cube you can find. In addition to a new and innovative design on the surfaces inside the cube, you will find built-in magnets, a new elasticity system and a variety of accessories. GAN 356 Air SM
The cube has 48 built-in magnets. What does this mean? – The magnets are on the inside of the corner- and edge pieces and are pointed towards the adjacent pieces. This makes it so the pieces will be pulled towards one another when the magnets are close enough. The effect will make the layer snap into correct position after you turn it. The magnets are strong enough to subtly make it easier for you to keep control of the cube while you turn it fast. The magnets in the GAN 356 Air SM aren’t glued by hand like many previous magnetic cubes, this cube has attachments for the magnets so they don’t come loose.
New design inside the cube
The cube has received a new design for the contact surfaces. This is the first time this type of design is used in a cube. GAN calls this design Honeycomb due to its texture. The intention is for the silicon to evenly distribute through the cube when lubricating, giving it a longer life span. It also gives it a new fresh feeling to the cube.
New core with a new elasticity system
GAN has continued developing their system for the core, springs and adjustments. The cube has a new updated core and new GES-springs. The springs included with the Air SM 2019 are called GES V3. With purchase you get four colors of springs, green, yellow, blue and purple, each color representing a specific strength of the springs. By changing the springs to a different color you give the cube a new feeling to it and you can adjust it to suit your desire.
The cube as a whole
The size of the cube is 56 mm which has become a standard for 3×3 speedcubes. Just like the other cubes in the Air-series, it’s very light at 76 grams. Despite all the upgrades, it keeps the GAN-feeling that you’re used to from previous GAN-cubes. Gan 356 Air SM is very resistant to corner twists and is safe from pops. This cube is exceptional when it comes to corner cutting. As a whole this is absolutely one of the best cubes on the market. It is strongly recommended for those who want something more than the usual.

I bought it on another website called SpeedCubeShop. Out of the box it was extremely good, 50 degrees corner cutting and extremely smooth as you would expect among GAN cubes. I bought some other lube in the order, Jack o lantern and vortex. I poured 6 drops of jack o lantern on the pieces and pretty much vortex on all the blue GES springs I like to have. Now it is much better than before, much smoother and faster. I recommend that you buy this at cuboss because it took a long time to get the package from SpeedCubeShop, because it is in the US. 5 stars without a doubt!

I have had this cube for about a month and immediately became my main, even before I had lubricated it. When I first opened it, I felt that it was fast and had a very soft feeling. This is due to Gans & quot; honeycomb design & quot; which means that there is less friction between the pieces. This leads to a much better flow than Gans UM. My setup on the cube is: Green GES nutsLubicle silk in the core and on the piecesTraaxas 50K on the piecesI only have to say one thing and that is that this cube & quot; eats & quot; lubricant. You have to lubricate it a little more often and use a little more means than other cubes. But this cube is clearly my favorite and I recommend you all to buy it.

The cube comes with 2 packages with given scabs. 3 different colors per set. With 7 of each color. I replaced the ones that came with the cube to the yellow ones because they are so good. If anyone hears a strange sound from the screws. Then you can use the luboss drive and luba the screws. I made my pillow fast. Given the screws make a big difference with the feel of the cube. The cube is a bit too expensive but the goose cubes are. The cube comes with screws, cube bag and a cube container. The cube feels better than the Gans air UM version. The Eftersson cube (SM) has a & quot; honeycomb & quot; design.I recommend the cube. I prefer Gans air SM over a whale 3.

Good, but eats lube
I have been using the cube for almost two weeks almost non-stop. It is very quiet, (the quietest cube I have had), has a sandy feeling and is very light. However, I think the magnets can feel too much depending on which nuts you use. Personally, I prefer the blue ones that were already in, while the harder nuts like the yellow ones, feel too much. This also made the magnets feel even more, which affected my ability to twist. For its price, the cube is very good and if you like a sandy and quiet cube, I highly recommend it. But be prepared to lubea it often as it eats lube, despite its unique design.

Very light cube with just the right feeling. Very quiet, except for corner cuts, especially reverse when it slams a little. At first I disliked it but now I see it as a tool to increase my precision and get very happy when I solve the cube quickly and quietly! Really good with the GES system to easily and precisely change the tension in the cube. A cube with the little extra that is highly recommended!
