GAN 356 i 3 as a Speedcube
As a speedcube, the GAN 356 in 3 is what you can expect from GAN, which today manufactures the most luxurious competition cubes on the market. The cube is definitely meant to be speedsolved and this is a top class speedcube. It is fast, stable and cuts corners very well. Of course, it is magnetic, which means that small strong magnets inside the cube pieces help you put the layers in place. These magnets also have adjustable magnetic strength just like GAN’s most luxurious speedcubes. Since it has a battery inside, it is slightly heavier than GAN cubes usually are.
GAN 356 in 3 as a Smart cube
GAN has two different smart cubes that both use the same app. This version is rechargeable and it comes with a charging station with a USB-C socket. Wall charger and cord not included. The GAN 356 in 3 also comes with a rechargeable power bank, so you can charge your cube on the go even if you don’t have access to a wall outlet. See GAN PowerPod. The app
The app used for the cube is called Cube Station and can be downloaded for free for Android and IOS. The app and instructions are available in English and Chinese. We also want to warn you that the app is not very intuitive and it can be a little difficult to get started. But once you get going, the GAN 356 i 3 is a very good smart cube. Even for those who solve the Rubik’s cube in less than 10 seconds, you can count on the virtual cube always keeping up. This, in conjunction with the fact that the cube is as well-performing as a speedcube, means that the GAN 356 i 3 is a better choice than other smart cubes when it comes to just solving fast. You can also connect the cube to the GAN robot, which with the help of the app can solve your cube for you! The cube can also be connected to the GAN smart timer.
