Luboss Medium silicone oil is a lubricant for speedcubes that lubricates and softens your cube. As the name suggests, it has a medium viscosity and is therefore suitable for all types of cubes. It is thicker than the DNM-37 and Luboss Drive, which means that the cube does not speed up as much. The focus is instead on giving the cube a soft feel and that it should last a long time. The bottle has a narrow tip so that you can use it to lubricate the core.

Luboss Medium Silicone Oil – Lubricant for your speedcubes
Luboss Medium have been created specifically for speedcubing. The lubricant is suitable for all kinds of cubes and can be used to get different effects. By just using a very small amount of Luboss Medium, your cube instantly speeds up and gives it a smoother feeling. The cube may also get quieter. By using a larger amount of silicone in the cube, you can also make your cube slower. This can be useful as today’s cubes can be hard to control due to their speed.
How to lubricate a cube with Luboss Medium
The bottle has a small tip to prevent you from accidentally using too much silicone. The easiest way to lubricate the cube is to pour a drop of silicone in a crevice between the pieces, and then scrambling the cube. Modern 3×3 speedcubes tend to have small gaps by the corner pieces, so you won’t need to pull apart the pieces to reach inside. For larger cubes you can pour a drop for each layer. Add more lubricant if needed. If you use a lot of silicone the cube will become slower. The small tip on the bottle makes it easy to lubricate even the smallest pieces inside the core if you wish to be more thorough.
Viscosity
The viscosity refers to how loose and runny it is. As a guideline, heavier silicone (with higher viscosity) is thicker and therefore slower. Lighter silicone (with lower viscosity) will make your cube fast but is also thin and tends to not be too noticeable when it comes to the general feel of the cube. Lower viscosity will also make the lubricant dry out faster. If you’d like a balanced lubricant, we recommend Luboss Medium.

This lube works great for both the core and the pieces! Mixed it with Luboss Drive in my MoYu Weilong GTS2 M and it turned out really good! Highly recommended!
