The MoFang JiaoShi Meilong 9×9 is a small and compact 9×9. Compared to the Yuxin Huanglong 9×9 which is pretty fast, the Meilong 9×9 is a bit slower. Though the cube has a great build-quality and feels stable and robust in the hands. The smaller size makes the cube manageable despite its many layers.

Impressive
This cube surprised me enormously. Most for its size about 3mm larger than a shengshue 7×7, which means that it fits well in the hand. The bearings slide easier than I thought they would. Very happy with this cube.

Perfect for the solver, good for the collector
Great to turn and solve. Definitely nicer than my shengshou 7×7 and 8×8, so probably nicer than their 9×9 as well. The bearings do not hack at all as shengshou cubes can do, especially shengshous 8×8.I really prefer black cubes with stickers, but I chose to test stickerless when there are so many stickers that can come loose. The colors are quite pastel, so if you like it, this is good. I like them! One thing I do not like as much is how small it is, but it’s not because it’s too fussy to use. It is actually very easy to use despite narrow layers, but I do not like it as much because it is even smaller than my 7×7. For someone who wants to solve it over and over again, it is probably the best available on cubboss, but if it should just sit on the shelf and look nice, I would probably buy a shengshou 9×9 (if you like that). Since I’m a bit of both, I prefer this over shengshous 9×9.

Fun and good enough for me
A bit sluggish at first but has lubricated and solved a few times and now it feels good enough (I do not solve it quickly anyway, it is after all a budget cube). Has stickerless and it is actually easy for it to slip out of my hands, would have ordered one with stickers if I were to choose again. However, the boxes are small and if stickers fly off, it can probably be tricky to put on new ones. The cube is about the same size as my 7x7x7, which feels luxurious, can solve it several times a day without getting particularly sore in the wrists (which I got for example after solving 11x11x11)

It is better than mf8 straight out of the box and after about 2-3 solutions it is absolutely fantastic! the size is also incredible
