Each Moyu RS Pyraminx M comes with a small accessory box, containing a screwdriver, instruction manual and tools for adjusting the springs. You make these settings by first lifting the colored caps that sit on the corners of the Pyraminx. To change the feel of the cube, it is recommended to first tighten the screws sufficiently hard, so that it cuts corners well. Then you can use the included tool to turn the blue ring that surrounds the screw. By screwing the same number of clicks under all corners of the Pyraminx, you can adjust the spring’s length and thereby strength. This way you can change how loose or tight the Pyraminx feels without having to risk it popping.
The Moyu RS Pyraminx M also comes in a Maglev version where the springs have been replaced by repelling ring magnets. These provide the same tensioning effect that springs usually do, but without the extra friction that springs create when they grind against other plastic and metal parts in the core. It makes the cube both faster and quieter, and is therefore recommended for those of you who want a really good and fast Pyraminx at a budget price.
