MoYu Super RS3M (2022) is the successor to the Moyu RS3M 2020. The cube comes in three exciting versions this time:
- Standard Magnetic – The standard variant, an upgrade of the MoYu RS3M 2020
- MagLev Magnetic – Magnetic levitation instead of springs. Make the cube quieter and faster.
- Ball Core (MagLev + Magnetic Core) – In addition to MagLev, this also has a Magnetic Core. (Corner to core magnets)
MoYu Super RS3M (2022)
The MoYu Super RS3M (2022) is a world-class magnetic 3×3 speedcube. The cube comes with many of the latest technologies and yet at a very low price compared to the competition. This is today (October 2022) the cheapest magnetic core cube available. All versions are adjustable as usual using a standard screwdriver. The cube also has a so-called dual adjustment system where you can also adjust the cube’s elasticity (the tension) using a small tool that is included. The tension is easily adjusted in nine different steps, which makes it easy for you to get a good balance on all sides. The previous RS3M 2020 had flat surfaces on the inside between the pieces. The new RS3M has received MoYu’s new anti-stick “dragon scale” surface which gives the cube a soft, fast and airy feel. Of course, the cube is magnetic between the corners and edge pieces and this applies to all three versions. Furthermore, the Moyu Super RS3M is a 56 mm (standard size) cube in a light weight that is not prone to popping and cut corners incredibly well with the correct adjustment.
MagLev
MagLev means that the usual suspension system with metal springs has been replaced with two repelling ring magnets. One magnet thus levitates over the other magnet and provides a springy effect, which means that you avoid the friction between springs and washers and the cube becomes both faster and quieter.
MoYu Super RS3M Ball Core
The third version has what MoYu calls a Ball Core. There is a ball around the core where they’ve attached eight magnets facing the corner pieces. At the bottom of the corner pieces there are also magnets aligned with the magnets in the core. This provides two different functions. First, the cube gets a slightly stronger magnetic feel. It also becomes somewhat more stable. Then you actually get a bit of a repelling effect that causes the magnets to slide a bit as you start to approach the end of your move. So you get a push in the move and the layer settles into place. This is the same system used in e.g. GAN 11, 12 and 13.

The cube comes with a cube guide, instructions, an adjustment tool, a screwdriver, a cube stand and (only with the Ball Core variant) a transparent display box.
