Also, it’s a perfect challenge regardless of previous speedcubing experience, as the world’s flags and geography will make solving the cube more difficult than if it were just colors (like on a regular Rubik’s cube). Calvin’s World Map 3×3 is a good quality puzzle that is easy to turn and has a detailed look. Despite the fact that the puzzle is a cube and not a globe, the manufacturers have done a very good job of depicting the shape and contours of the countries as realistically as possible. It is really only the countries closest to the poles (especially Russia) that have been given a slightly special look. In addition to flags and geography, you can also take the opportunity to learn the names of all the world’s oceans, whose names are also marked on the puzzle.
