Shengshou Mr. M Square-2 is the next challenge if you have already mastered the quite difficult original Square-1 puzzle. Unlike a classic Square-1, on this puzzle you can also make moves that slice through the corners. This allows you to scramble the puzzle in completely new ways and the shape shifting is even crazier. Shengshou Mr. M Square-2 is also a high quality puzzle, which, despite the more intricate internal design, performs very well with its magnetic, soft and silky feel.

Shengshou Mr. M Square-2 is as the name suggests magnetic (the U- and D-layer). This allows the pieces to fall into place precisely between turns, so you can turn faster and have fewer lock-ups. You can choose how tightly the puzzle should be set using the screw that sits under the blue plastic cap in the equator slice. Overall, this is an unusually smooth and well-made puzzle for not being an official competition event. This makes Shengshou Mr. M Square-2 a perfect puzzle for those who both like to speedsolve and to give the brain new challenges.

This cube is very fun to solve, and it has very good quality. It's actually one of my favorite cubes right now and it's really good. You solve it much like a 4x4 variant of square 1 and once you've figured out how to solve it, it's actually not that difficult.
But it was really a real challenge in the beginning and still is somewhat. The only downside to that cube is that the corner cutting is not that good. It is also very tight when it arrives, so I recommend that you screw it a little looser. I also recommend taking some lube such as mystic or speedy, because then it will be even faster and better. Highly recommended!
