MoYu Super Weilong 3×3 M UV
MoYu Super Weilong 3×3 M UV (8-Ball Core & Spring)
MoYu Super Weilong 3×3 M UV comes in three different variants, where they didn’t hold back in any of them.
The “simplest” variant comes with a magnetic core (Ball Core) with 8 magnets, which are attracted to the magnets that have been mounted under the corner pieces. This variant has springs instead of repelling ring magnets to create suspension in the cube. Don’t be discouraged by that though: the extra speed that MagLev provides isn’t vital in a cube that’s already as naturally fast as this one. Many instead prefer the slightly more controllable feel that metal springs provide, compared to suspension through magnets.
MoYu Super Weilong 3×3 M UV (8-Ball Core & MagLev)
In this variant, MoYu has replaced the springs with repelling ring magnets instead. It provides a quieter and faster speedcube that requires less maintenance. It was actually MoYu that pioneered MagLev when they started releasing speedcubes with this technology in 2021. The cube is magnetized in the same way as the variant above, but if you are interested in a really fast and luxurious speedcube, this choice may be the best for you.
MoYu Super Weilong 3×3 M UV (20-Ball Core & MagLev)
This variant may well be the most luxurious speedcube ever released. For starters, you get the benefits of MagLev listed above. In addition, this speedcube has a further improved variation on magnetic cores: a Ball Core with 20 magnets. This means that there is not only attraction between the core and the corners, but also between the core and the edge pieces. The MoYu Super Weilong 3×3 M UV (20-Ball Core & MagLev) is the first ever speedcube to implement this technology and it is impressive to see how MoYu continues to be innovative in its quest to produce the best speedcubes on the market. This improved Ball Core provides an even more stable, fast and controllable speedcube – simply among the best you can buy on the market.
