So how does a pinboard work? It is a simple but ingenious invention. The nails move back and forth with the help of gravity, so if you want to erase your pin art, you simply turn the board upside down. Place an object, a hand or face on the back and turn it over to create a new image. Alternatively, you can simply push the nails back and forth.
