5-Year Eco-Design Roadmap (2025 – 2030)

As required by the French AGEC Law (Article 72), Cuboss AB publishes this 5-year eco-design roadmap. Although we are primarily a retailer, we take responsibility for the environmental impact of the products we place on the French market. Our commitments for 2025 – 2030 are:

1. Product life extension

We will continue to offer spare parts (springs, magnets, stickers, lubricants, etc.) for a wide range of our products, enabling repair and maintenance rather than replacement.

We aim to expand our spare-parts offering each year, making at least 5 new product lines reparable by 2030.

2. Packaging improvements

We will reduce single-use plastic in our packaging and shipping materials.

By 2027, we aim to use 95% paper-based or recyclable cardboard packaging for our own shipments to customers.

 

3. Logistics and transport

We will prioritize lower-impact transport methods for importing goods.

Our goal is to import the majority of our products by rail and sea rather than air freight.

For customer deliveries, we will continue to offer carriers with carbon-offset or eco-delivery options where available.

 

4. Recycling and waste reduction

We will work with our suppliers to reduce excess packaging.

We will use recyclable fillers (paper, cardboard) instead of plastic air cushions wherever possible.

 

5. Continuous improvement

We will review this roadmap in 2030 and publish an updated plan for the following 5 years.

We will monitor developments in eco-design and circular economy standards and adjust our practices accordingly.
