GAN Skewb M is a luxurious magnetic Skewb with new features not previously seen in Skewbs. This model has GAN’s new magnetic core and their modern GES system that allows you to adjust both tension and the elasticity of the springs. The cube is fast and has a soft smooth feeling with great turning. Simply put, a fanastic Skewb speedcube!
GAN Skewb M has a new magnetic system where the corner pieces are magnetized, not only to other pieces, but to the core as well – just like the popular flagship GAN 11 M Pro. The fact that the cube is magnetized means that small strong magnets inside the puzzle help you to pull the layers in place. GAN Skewb M is light and has the classic honeycomb surfaces that we’re used to seeing in GAN’s products. This Skewb is the first on the market to have an elasticity system, which means that you have more adjusting options compared to other current Skewbs (2021-01-27). The cube comes with an adjustment tool, an adjustment manual, a solution guide, a display box and a storage bag.
Below you can see an illustration of the magnetic system. The standard version first, which only has magnets against the core, and then the enhanced version which has magnets between the pieces as well. 2022 GAN released a new UV coated version. This is the same cube as GAN Skewb Enhanced, but with applied UV coating. UV Coating is a thin layer of glossy varnish that protects the cube from scratches.
