QiYi M Pro 3×3 is QiYi’s latest release of a 3×3 speedcube, meant to compete as the most affordable but high value speedcube on the market. For its price, we think it impresses on several levels. It’s a naturally fast and easy-to-use cube right out of the box, and the cube brings to mind a simpler version of the immensely popular X-Man Tornado V3 3×3 M. Of course, it comes pre-magnetized from the factory, and now also comes in a MagLev and Ball Core UV version. The question is really only just whether it will be your favorite in the category of cheap but high performing speedcubes? Read more below.
The QiYi M Pro 3×3 comes in a sleek transparent box with a clicking mechanism that keeps the lid in place. Inside, in addition to the cube itself, there is also a manual and a collector’s card. Already when you make your first turns on the cube, you’ll see that this is basically a simplified version of many people’s favorite release in 2022, the X-Man Tornado V3 3×3 M. The cube retains the ability to adjust the spring strength with a simple eleven-level system that you can use without tools. Compared to the Tornado V3 3×3 M, however, you adjust how tightly the cube should be tightened with a normal screwdriver. The ability to adjust the magnet strength is gone and this variant is a bit louder and blockier than its big brother. But for the big step down in price, the QiYi M Pro 3×3 will nevertheless be a fantastic deal that will surely attract many speedcubers worldwide.
