Gigaminx (difficulty and solution)
The puzzle probably looks quite intimidating, but the solution is not as difficult as one might think. It’s definitely a challenge, but if you have a couple of cubes in your collection then you should be able to handle this one. The Gigaminx is basically a 5×5 version of a Megaminx. This means if you can already solve a Megaminx and a regular 5×5, then you can expect to solve this completely by yourself without the use of a guide. It’s not exactly like the Megaminx or 5×5 though, so you might need to think for a while before finding the solution, this becomes a perfect challenge for those who are looking for something slightly more challenging.
This isn’t the first Gigaminx on the market, but previous versions have had quite poor performance which is why we’ve waited to add the Gigaminx to our assortment. And now Shengshou has finally released a Gigaminx of good quality. The performance is good right out of the gate and you can turn its layers with no problems. The puzzle doesn’t lock itself up much and can even partially cut corners. The mechanism is smart and the puzzle doesn’t pop. Delivered with extra stickers.
