Cuboss Rapid is our first water-based lubricant! The lubricant is developed and produced in house in Sweden, using only high-quality ingredients. Just as the name suggests, Cuboss Rapid will above all make your cube really fast, but at the same time give the puzzle a soft and smooth feeling that no other water-based lubricant can match. This is because the viscosity of Cuboss Rapid is more like a gel than a liquid.

Cuboss Rapid
Cuboss Rapid is a new water-based lubricant with properties unlike anything else on the market. The consistency of Cuboss Rapid means slower evaporation than other water-based lubricants and thus the effect is retained in the cube much longer than, for example, DNM-37. It’s easy to use and effective, smells good of violas and with the larger 15ml bottle you get more lube for your money!
Instructions
To apply Cuboss Rapid in your cube, we recommend that you first shake the container upside down, so that the lubricant collects at the tip. Then carefully separate the pieces of the puzzle, and drip about 2-3 drops of Cuboss Rapid inside the puzzle. After that, start turning the cube to distribute the lubricant to all the pieces of the puzzle to give the cube a quick and smooth feel. If a stronger effect is desired, or if you feel that the lubricant has begun to lose its effect, the application can be repeated. It is next to impossible to apply too much Cuboss Rapid, as water-based lubricants will only make your cube faster and smoother, not slower.
Cuboss Rapid also works perfectly in combination with a heavier silicone-type lubricant. Many of today’s speedcubes are dry but very fast right out of the box, so a lubricant is needed to extend the life of the puzzle and give it the feel you want. If you first apply some silicone oil to the cube, it will make it soft and controllable for a very long time. Then you can “top” with Cuboss Rapid to give the cube the exact speed and feel you want.
Cuboss Rapid is primarily intended as a lubricant for the pieces of the cube, i.e. the parts that are made of plastic. For lubricating screws and other metal parts of a puzzle, a silicone oil lube is recommended instead.
The lubricant is completely safe to touch, but avoid eye contact, do not ingest or expose it to very high temperatures.
