This is the latest version of the Speedstacks timers. Speedstacks G4 pro timer is of high quality, it measures time with high precision and has a clear display displaying down to thousandths of a second. This timer is frequently used for official WCA Competitions.

This is generation 4 of Speedstacks timers. Compared to earlier versions of this model, this has a better ergonomic design for picking up and putting down the cube. The touch-sensors have been turned slightly inwards, creating a more natural feel. Another difference is the batteries, this uses AAA-batteries instead of the CR 2023 3V that were used in the earlier version. Batteries are not included.
Just like the other models, this has cavities for attaching the timer to a mat. It fits both the G3-mat, the new G4-mat as well as mats from Yuxin and Qiyi. (a mat not included, but can be purchased separately and as a timer & mat package).
Don’t forget to pull off the little plastic tab from the battery compartment before use, otherwise the timer doesn’t start!
Use:
Start the timer, place both hands on the marked plates and wait for the timer to signal that it’s ready. When you lift your hands from the plates to start solving the cube, the timer will start. When you are finished with your solve you quickly place your hands on the plates once again and the timer will stop. To reset, simply press the reset button.
