X-Man Tornado V3 Premium 3×3 is an updated version of one of the most popular speedcubes of the decade, X-Man Tornado V3. This puzzle has a lighter and more airy design, which translates into a faster and crisper turning feeling. The dual adjustment system has been given three extra levels, which means that you can now set both the tightening and spring strength in eight levels. In addition to that, the puzzle has adjustable magnetic strength in five steps and a box full of accessories – read more below.
In the compact and stylish box, your X-Man Tornado V3 Premium 3×3 rests in a transparent, openable storage box. In the included box with accessories, you will find, among other things, a white cube bag, microfiber cloth for wiping the cube, an adjustment tool, manuals and a collector’s card. The adjustment of the tightening and spring strength can be found under the center cap on each side. If you turn counterclockwise, the tightening is adjusted, i.e. how tightly the pieces lie against each other, which, among other things, affects how well the cube can corner cut. If you turn clockwise, the spring strength is adjusted, i.e. how fast your cube feels. For both settings, 1 is the loosest/fastest setting and 8 is the tightest/slowest setting.
The magnetic strength is instead adjusted in the edge pieces. You will find the adjustment if you misalign a layer 45 degrees from the standard position – remember that you need to adjust on both sides of an edge piece to get even settings across the entire cube, a total of 24 adjustments are required. The puzzle comes set to level 3, i.e. medium-strong magnets. Adjusting towards the minus sign makes the magnetic strength weaker and adjusting towards the plus sign makes the magnetic strength stronger.

I got the flagship version a few days ago and ITS CRACKED. I got a 3.48 single and a 4.89 average of 5 with this cube. The turn feel IS SOOOOOO addictive and I definetly recommend this cube, but it is incredibly fast and it doesnt have the greatest corner cutting

I've had this cube for almost a week now and here's my opinion on the Cube: exactly as described, this Cube is faster, lighter and crispier than the original Tornado v3. Nevertheless, this cube has a classic X-Man Tornado feel. In my opinion, the adjustment system is one of the best. You have more settings options and you don't need any additional tools. The magnets need to be adjusted just like on the original Tornado v3, meaning 24 adjustments. Personally, I don't mind, since it is, after all, a Tornado v3. However, I find the magnets too weak even at the highest setting, which was not the case with the original Tornado v3. Personally, I'd recommend the flagship version because the springs make the cube more stable and controllable. And for €30, you really can't go wrong.
