A so-called Mirror cube is a puzzle that changes shape as you twist its layers. The challenge is then to return the pieces to their original positions so that the puzzle forms a perfect cube again. With its five layers, you can solve this puzzle using the same techniques and algorithms you’ve learned for the standard 5×5 cube. Mirror cubes also come in simpler formats, such as 3×3. Awesome puzzle! It might look intimidating all scrambled, but it's just a matter of making sense of the mess in front of you and the solving experience is a ton of fun. Turning quality is very good: there's a bit of awkwardness in pushing on layers of different sizes with pieces bulging out, but that's what you get with Mirror puzzles. Hopefully higher order ones will come out in the future!
