FZ-Glide is the latest lubricant from TheCubicle and the cubing chemist Hongyuan Fu (aka Freddie, FZ). This is a lubricant that is partially water based and is meant to be used on the pieces in your cube. Compared to other lubricants, it stands out with its softness and reasonably fast feel – a lubricant that can both maintain the puzzle’s initial turning feel and at the same time give it a smooth boost. Due to its partially water-based content, FZ-Glide is a very easy-to-use lubricant that works excellently in all types of speedcubes. The lubricant is very difficult to overuse, as it will primarily not slow down your cube, but rather make it even softer. However, should you get too much inside of your puzzle, the lubricant is easy to wipe out of the pieces again.
FZ-Glide is supplied in a syringe, as its gel-like consistency is easier to apply with a syringe than with a bottle. However, be careful when pushing the syringe, as too much lubricant can easily come out at once if you push too hard. We also recommend that you store the lubricant with the cap on when not in use to maintain its effect, and that it is not applied to screws and metal parts (as it contains water). The lubricant is safe to touch with the skin, but avoid ingestion or contact with your eyes.
