Nobuyuki Yoshigahara invented this puzzle when he was only 19 years old. This is what he has to say about his creation (translated): It just came to my mind during a walk in the snow on my way home, really a creation from my youth. Unfortunately I can’t say much about the design without revealing the solution. I don’t want to disappoint my fans who expect difficult frustrating puzzles from me. The fans which refuse to accept any hints whatsoever are those who make me the happiest! The keyword for the puzzle is “needle”.

Nice AND clever!
Owns this, but not bought on this account. Likes the rustic look and it fits nicely in the hand thanks to the cast metal. If you are a beginner at this, you will have to do. You might even solve it and then not get it back together: DSsummary: Nice AND difficult.

Very clever
Very clever and gives many hours of fun tinkering. The only thing that is frustrating is that the discs are a bit difficult to spin.
