Few doubt that Teodor Zajder is likely Europe’s fastest 3×3 speedcuber. That is why we at Cuboss are especially pleased to have the honor of sponsoring his journey to new heights! Earlier this year, he broke the 3×3 single world record with a time of 2.76 seconds — the first-ever solve to break the elusive 3-second barrier. Furthermore, this past summer, he managed to snatch both the European average record and the European Championship gold medal from his major Polish rival, Tymon Kolasiński.
Teodor’s European record average of 4.41 seconds stood until last Sunday, when he competed at the GLS Gdańsk VI 2026 competition in Poland. In the very first round, he managed to improve his own European average record, lowering it to 4.37 seconds. During the final solve, he achieved the second sub-4 second time needed to secure a sufficiently low average.
Many might have thought the show was over by then, but Teodor Zajder is no ordinary cuber. In the second round, he came close to his new European record with an average of 4.63 seconds. The day concluded with the final, where Teodor managed to tie his brand-new European record with another average of five solves of 4.37 seconds! Feats such as equalling or breaking the same record twice in a single day are extremely rare in modern speedcubing, but we are certain this isn’t the last we’ll see of Teodor. Could he be a contender for a medal at the World Championship in Uppsala, Sweden next year?
