The Mofang JiaoShi Meilong 11×11 is part of the Meilong-series from Moyu. Despite the Meilong-cubes being budget cubes, this cube has surprisingly good performance. The cube is fast and easily turned right out of the box despite its many layers. The cube is significantly smaller than eg the ShengShou and Yuxin 11×11, which makes it more comfortable to handle and actually makes it possible to use fingertricks even for the outer layers, for those with larger hands. The cube can partially cut corners, but we don’t recommend turning the cube too fast and too carelessly. With its speed combined with the smaller size it’s tempting to turn quickly, but if the layers are not aligned it can lead to lock ups or popping. The cube is of course adjustable so you can partially prevent this.

The Mofang JiaoShi Meilong 11×11 is a real beast in terms of its amount of layers. This cube has a grand total of 726 squares on the cube and your job is to put each and every one of them at its correct location! In terms of its physical size, the Meilong 11×11 can be considered as a miniature-format with a size of 8.9 cm. This makes the cube easier to mange and comfortable to solve.

Positively suprised
Had seen some movie clips online and there the finish and quality of this cube seemed quite questionable .. In the end I chose to order this 11×11 anyway, and as I said I was pleasantly surprised! No defects in the finish, glides super nicely between all layers. The center pieces are really super small, so it will be a challenge just to distinguish which piece it is you are looking for .. Corner cuts a little, but it feels best to adjust all layers before changing direction because the pieces are so small. Already have a Yuxin 10×10 which feels super big in the hands, it will be a physical achievement to be able to solve the whole cube without pausing. This 11×11 is a joy to turn compared to it, mostly because you do not have to stretch your fingers all the time to reach around the cube. Definitely my new favorite!
