The Vin Cube 4×4 V2 M is the most exciting release of a 4×4 speedcube in 2025! The design philosophy has been to take on the MoYu AoSu V7 as the best on the market, but to do it at a lower price tag. The cube comes in three exciting variants that make it easy to choose which magnetic strength and turning feel you’re after – read more below.
The Vin Cube 4×4 V2 M comes in the three variants of Sprint, Surge and Apex:
- Sprint (Standard) – The standard variant has classic magnetization between the pieces (96 magnets).
- Surge (Advanced) – This variant has a magnetic core with eight magnets in the core and corner pieces (112 magnets in total), as well as scratch-resistant and shiny UV coating on top of the pieces.
- Apex (Flagship) – In the base of the pieces, an additional 48 magnets have been added (160 magnets in total) for increased control. This variant also has UV coating!
Just like the MoYu AoSu V7, this cube measures 58 mm in side length, which contributes to a compact but “bubbly” turning feel. The tightening is easily adjusted with a regular screwdriver, which (along with a cube bag and instruction manual) is included in the cube’s accessory kit. The Surge variant in particular has impressed us here at Cuboss, and is a hot candidate for the spot as the market’s most affordable 4×4 competition level speedcube.

It is a very good cube and one of the best 4x4s on the market but I‘m not sure it‘s better than the Aosu V7. It‘s quieter, a bit slower and more flexible with much weaker magnets. I like it but I‘m not sure that most people would pick this one over the Aosu V7.
